Howdy Saturday!
Wow! Yesterday was a doozy! I had a couple little tootsie rolls...and then I had a couple more, and then I lost count of how many I ate. I just gave up on trying to control myself. I don't buy that stuff anymore, but there were some in the cupboard leftover from a kitty litter cake I made in December and when I saw them I thought I could eat just one...Ha!
One change I've made in this new lifestyle is not letting a slip up derail me. Last night's tootsie roll melt down was bad and frankly a little scarey, but it was ONE slip up, NOT a lifestyle. I know I'm not going to go the rest of my life without eating a tootsie roll (or some other off-plan treat), so I've decided to try and tweak how I handle these challenges. I've decided to record my indulgences in my food journal BEFORE I eat them. That way if I still choose to indulge, at least I'm doing so with full knowledge and responsibility.
Every tweak brings me closer to the lifestyle I'm building for myself.
Make your Saturday significant! TTFN

If there are some left, give them away, toss them in the trash...i'm doing that with the chips I started eating last night, and I don't even like them. I was looking for crunchy, they were handy. I did the same said a few ate a bunch.... grrrrr

Keep up the positive thinking. One slip up should not turn into a lengthy binge. I am cheering for you to get back on track.

Great plan, and a great way to recover from a slip-up. Keep up the good work.

So happy you can see the "lifestyle" idea instead of feeling deprived in a "diet" mode.
