I resolved to focus on more sleep, and better quality sleep, and after years of abusing caffeine to the tune of 600mg to 1000mg or more a day, I decided to taper down, and eventually cut off completely, my intake of caffeine in all forms.

Giving up dark chocolate was the hardest. That and the mid afternoon fatigue in the first several weeks after quitting. I’ve been caffeine free for 45 days now, and my sleep quality is much improved, and my adrenal system seems to be bouncing back steadily, but slowly, with a more consistent energy level throughout the day.
89.6 kg Lost so far: 2.9 kg.    Still to go: 1.6 kg.    Diet followed: Reasonably Well.
