Finished the week extremely well!! I was able to keep in line with what I wanted all week. That's rare!! Going to start another week tomorrow and concentrate on each day as they come. Today not logging dinner as I am letting my husband order Chinese takeout and I want to enjoy it with him. I will be doing my regular exercise routine though and go for a nice long walk. Tired of eating chicken!! lol Have to find something else. Ideas??

It depends on what you like, meat wise. I eat mostly eggs, pork, chicken and fish but I also include beef too, usually regular ground beef (80/20). Today will be a treat because I found a blade steak on sale so I plan on making Beef Stew with some of it. I haven't figured out how or what I'm cooking with the other portion but using the braising method will work wonders for that cut of meat. I also go and look at recipes to see how I can incorporate it into my food lifestyle. And of course looking at all the various photo's of other people's dish items here in FS can trigger ideas too ;)

Thank you so much for your ideas and input. Unfortunately, a lot of the stuff that people post on here I won't eat. I know it sounds funny to say I'm not a picky eater but I'm not. But I actually don't like any beans, avocados, squash or plain fish. Most likely comes from eating most of my life stuff that is white and full of carbs like breaded meats stuff. I'm trying to not eat now! Lol I will keep looking! My journey so far has been a really good one with some hills and valleys just like everyone else and I too will climb this hill! I hope you enjoy your day.

Chuckles, yes I agree with you that there are certain food items I refuse to eat as well (Avocado's are one of them). But look outside of your normal items. I have no choice but to be gluten-free as well as low carb and there are some horrid items available. But once in a blue moon I've been able to come across something that is appetizing to my palate. Trial & error. You've got this sweets ;) Have a blessed day!!
