Down a bit. Lately I am less concerned about weight. I'm working the process and I'm seeing results. Had a NSV, yesterday. I was putting on a sports bra and strap in back got twisted. I turned a bit to fix it and got a back view of myself in mirror. Ive got back muscles! I remember a while back David's Princess posted a picture of herself, showing her back and I remember thinking I wish I had a back like that..Well I'm not quite as defined as she is but the muscles are definitely there!
I'm still doing the shared training and it is working well! Love that I get twice the training time for same price and I have a great workout buddy! My trainer got recertified last Sat so she brought a lot of what she learned to training yesterday. We did a lot of full body and ab movements as well as cardio in between. Learned new way to get the most out of plank exercises.
59.3 kg Lost so far: 11.0 kg.    Still to go: 0 kg.    Diet followed: Reasonably Well.

Redporch, I used to do weighted planks a lot but not as much with my trainer now. Not sure why...I'll mention them to her.

I was doing 45# weighted planks and also do side planks. I have seen other's at the gym doing a plank while using one arm to pull on a cable. That looks hard!

Redporch, Tim and livinbreezy, I texted my trainer for name of planks that we did but she hasn't texted me back yet. As for planks she also taught me to of course be aware of a flat back and grip the floor with hands and toes. This forces you to use your core and is more effective. I have weak wrists so I make a fist when doing planks. In my case she told me to sink my fists into floor. The new planks we did were a bended knee, hover plank. When she demonstrated them I thought they looked easy but they are not. It was an incredibly long 90 seconds! We also did side planks and using a weight plate I had to swoop it underneath my body and then back up in the air. Those were 1 min on each side. My abs were so sore the next day!!!

Wow Dianna all that core work sounds crazy intense. My regular routine has weighted decline sit ups , hanging leg raises, and ab roller. I mix some other stuff in occasionally but not regularly.

Planks are a challenge for me, but I’m better at them now then I was a year ago! And they work! Congratulations on your back muscles! 🙌🏻

otb, thanks! It was grueling and I forgot to mention, we timed each type of plank and did 3 sets ofeach of those with 15 seconds in between.. 😳💪
