I haven't been here for an update in my Journal for a while, but I've been logging my food faithfully. I've gained since raising my carbs to 50-60g/day to survive the holidays intact and without bingeing, but the threshold was still too high and I'm going to end the month heavier than I started for the first time since I started my weight loss journey (15 months).

However, I will be about 3-4 pounds heavier, so not the end of the world. I'm enjoying my time off and not stressing about the weight which I know will come off eventually. I mean, I'm not in a race - I'll lose it when I lose it, and after losing 90 pounds with 40 to go, I'm okay slowing the pace to something I can live with!

I hope everyone had a wonderful Christmas, enjoyed some well-deserved time off and has a great New Year.

PamelaJDennyis is correct Mrs Mole- 90 pounds is quite an accomplishment indeed!! You lost 90 pounds so far- You will definitley lose the 40!!!

Increasing carb. intake WILL cause some temporary bloating/water retention, but it will pass.
