No change, but considering I'm eating more calories and more carbs ( per my nutritionist) I'm happy with it. Back to weighing myself twice a week. Increased my weight load in body pump class. Today is my own w/o at gym. Gonna see what I can squat using squat rack. Have an annual checkup at Drs today as well. Noticed some of my blood work and urinalysis came back with a few alerts.. Gonna talk to him about that and the extreme pain I have in my hips. I think it might be arthritis..don't expect any real problems..have a blessed day everyone!!💜💪

Yes listen to your body... and the cheese. There needs to be a balance of tearing down and recovering.

Cheesegobbler and Supergainz,, probably not a great idea to do heavy squat load with hip pain but the competitive side of me is curious as to what I can do outside of pump class. We shall see how I feel when I get to gym. 💜💜

I have bad hip (and thigh and lower back) pain too. Last year my doctor had x-rays done on both hips and only saw arthritis. Maybe ask your doctor if the work and lifting, etc that you do is okay to do with the pain. I know you really enjoy it and I don't do any of that so have no suggestions other than ask the doctor.

I want to follow this thread to see what your doctor says about your hip paid. I have been having pain, too, but it doesn't seem to be in the muscle or even the joint - more bone deep.

Larilyn, My pain is also deep and a bone pain. I'll post what Dr says. Morticia, are you having similar issues or do you need to go for different reasons. Take care!💜 Seatless, I have done water body pump before and it is easier on joints but I lift pretty heavy so it's not enough for me.💪 Fritzy, sorry you are having pain too. I've said it many times..getting old sucks! Hope you get relief soon 😘

I dealt with pain in my hip and down my leg. Sciatica i thought. Was misdiagnosed as caused by bulging disc in L2,3,4 AND 5 which is true but five years later went to a specialist and he told me within minutes he thought it was the hip and probably surgical. Turns out i was in end stage osteoarthritis had a cyst on one hip, marrow edema and was born with hip dysplasia which i did not know. I am now 7 months post operative with a brand new hip and the pain is down 99 percent. Please get an X-ray and an mri to get the complete picture. I refused pain meds for years except Tylenol and lo and behold i could have been pain free a long time ago. Please get those done.
