Walked 3.3 miles today, 3.5 miles yesterday. It was "only" 77 degrees when we went out today....gosh, where are my parka, gloves and ear muffs?? LOL!

I completed 53 miles walking for the "50 Miles in June" challenge as of the end of the third week of the challenge - yay me! This last challenge week is just bonus mileage.

Today's weight was barely into 164, but I'll take it. If it doesn't hold for the weekly weigh-in, so be it...I'll record whatever it is. I changed my "20" sign (neon green) on my bulletin board to "19" (royal purple/blue) which felt great. However, I didn't tear up the "20," - I just put the "20" in a drawer, in case this doesn't hold.

As long as the storms hold off, I'll be off to the thrift store this afternoon. There's always a TON of work to do, so it's non-stop activity, which I love.
74.4 kg Lost so far: 32.2 kg.    Still to go: 8.6 kg.    Diet followed: Reasonably Well.

Congrats on the 53 miles and the pound! When I weighed myself last week and got under 170 I recorded it even though it was a day short of a week. I felt proud of myself! It may not stick yet, but it will!!! I was wondering about the bar colors...I just thought the colors changed to be pretty! There is a meaning to the colors?

Wow 53 miles already?? I wish I had your place to walk.. I would have to drive at least 10 miles to even get close to a good place to walk. I do have a long driveway but it gets boring to walk back and forth 5 times to get just one mile in..Keep going energizer bunny....Bren

Lisa, the colors refer to the colored paper I have on my bulletin board at home. I thought it might be motivational for me to see the number of pounds yet to go, right here at home, whenever I looked at that bulletin board. This AM, the "20" came down to unveil the "19" sheet underneath it. The last 5/10/15/20 pounds are supposed to be the hardest, so I need to keep focused on the goal for however long it takes. No special reason for the colors, just the colors I had in paper.

Ruby...you can imagine that the dogs ae quite happy, as well, as they get to go on a good bit of that distance. If it were winter, and not so hot and humid, they'd do the entire distance with me!

Bren, I know what you mean about boredom. I can get bored just going up and down the same streets, day after day. I probably know more about all the neighbors than they think! I know what contractors are working where, I know who's got the smelly garbage, I know who always has liquor bottles in the open recycling bin, I know where the dogs live, I know who has loud arguments, etc., etc.!

Lisa, if you want to know about the weight bar colors on this site...they do change at predetermined times based on how close, percentage-wise, you are to your stated goal. Ultimately, we're all looking for our graphs/tickers to turn BLUE!! Enjoy every pound that drops - I record it whenever it happens, regardless of the day I'd typically weigh-in. Upticks are only recorded by me if it's a typical weigh-in day, otherwise, I ignore them.

Wow 53 miles in one month. Well done. make sure you keep up and change your walking shoes if they don't feel as good anymore. You are definately getting the miles in.
