I am having trouble with losing weight lately. It sounds strange but I seem to drop more when I am eating a higher carb diet. I have absolutely no appetite, but I have to eat 5 times a day do to medication I take. I am not sure if my body thinks I am starving when I eat a low carb diet or what the deal is. it is so confusing.
98.7 kg Lost so far: 25.6 kg.    Still to go: 19.3 kg.    Diet followed: Reasonably Well.
Losing 0.1 kg a Week

When you eat lower carb, what is your fat % intake, and are you noticing a difference in water intake? Remember, if you’re exercising, low - moderate burns fats while intense exercise burns your carbs, find that in between and you’ll burn both equally

I try to keep a ratio of 40% protein, 30% carbs, and 30% fats. I do regularly take in around 1000 calories a day. I was told from a Nutritionist after doing a metabolic test that I should be taking in 150 carbs and 1700 calories a day. I find it had to eat that much. If I didn't have to eat at the time I take medicine I probably would only eat once or twice a day lol

Low carb is one strategy, but it's not the only strategy. If it doesn't work for you, and something else does, you can do something different. I could never in a million years get up to 40% protein -- I usually average more like 15%. High protein, low carb is all the rage these days, but it's not the only way

I think your doing awesome 54pds is no small gesture. Hang in there you will be okay..

maybe just focus on balancing macros and doing calories count...it really will work and you will feel fuller from the complex carbs
