Slow and steady..........it's my own fault, I haven't been eating poorly but I could have made some better choices over the weekend for sure. Plus I made a cheesy quinoa and cauliflower casserole the other day and I've been taking it to work for lunch since hubby won't eat it. I tend to try to stay away from "cheesy" things but I had the recipe and I had been wanting to try it for a while. BUT, a loss is a loss so I won't be too hard on myself about it. With Thanksgiving coming up, I want to be down to 160 so I have a little more leeway, just in case. I'm making dinner this year for just the hubster and I so since he just likes turkey, stuffing, taters I can make that stuff for him and make healthier stuff for me without being in the kitchen all day. Dessert is what will get me, he has requested apple pie but I have found a gluten free apple crisp recipe that I can hopefully do instead. I'm actually trying it out tonight so if he likes it we'll keep it, if not, back to the drawing board. I have been eyeballing a white chocolate coconut pie recipe for a while too...I can "healthy" that up a little :)

Work is going ok. We have been kind of slow so I haven't had too much to deal with the "idiot". Our new owners were here yesterday and seem pretty nice so hopefully that runs down to the employee level. That stupid machine I could not get working is FINALLY coming together. I broke down and called our headquarter's lab. Should have done it a month ago because in 2 days' time I am so close to it being 100%. Pride.....sometimes it's blinding!

Lion King was so cool! If you get a chance to see it, you totally should. It's kind of weird seeing a children's story on stage but the costumes and props alone were worth seeing. It was just amazing how they had everything rigged up and how those actors could move around in some of that stuff, I have no idea. Hubby even liked it, that was his first musical....all he said was "It was really cool, I was suprised how entertained I was....lots of singing though"....I'll take that! Lol! I would like to see Trans-Siberian Orchestra and the Nutcracker before the end of the year. Don't think I can talk him into those two quite yet....I think if he saw TSO though he'd like it, Christmas music annoys him though so we'll see.

Well, that's about it on my end, my dears. Happy Tuesday, hope you all are doing well! :)

I'm glad to hear that your work situation has improved a bit, even though you're stuck with your coworker. Maybe things will change for the better with new owners!

White chocolate coconut pie sounds delicious. Whatever you make you should make it either smaller then the recipe suggest or have a plan who to give the leftovers. It's really hard to resist yummy food in the fridge and you don't want to gain over the holidays. I just gave all of my leftover bday cake and cookies to my boyfriend. It's a good thing he want's to gain weight LOL

Geez, who complains about a loss? Great job! Gluten free apple crisp sounds pretty good, but after my lemon pie episode, I think I had better hold off for a while.
