Kimlas -- I made myself a spreadsheet that calculates a 7-day rolling average. Still weigh every day, but consider the average my official weight. Smooths out the bumps and gives a more accurate picture of the overall trend. It's so, so common for weight to fluctuate day to day. I've seen my weight jump as much as 3 pounds in one day. I could panic, sure, but if I stop and think rationally for a moment, I realize it was impossible for me to have overeaten by 10,500 calories in a single day 😉

Your weight will go up and down. Usually you will see a pattern. And if u see the pattern go up more than down. You’re doing something wrong.
