Starting over AGAINNNNNNN!!!! This time I am going in to this w/ a mindset that ITS NOT GOING TO HAPPEN OVERNIGHT!!!! I am planning to be on this journey for at least a year before I finally hit my goal weight and even then, it has to be a life change, not just as long as it takes to get to my goal. Short-term and long-term goals is something I am focusing on this go-round... Yes, ultimately I want to lose over 100 lbs, however, the first major goal for me is to get to the weight I was when I got married which is 220. 2nd goal: ONE-derland! I cannot wait to be under 200 lbs. That is going to be an amazing feeling! Each pound gone is a triumph. Since I had my son (and got 10-15 years older), I have struggled w/ my metabolism being SO MUCH slower than I was used to. Dieting used to be so easy... I have to vow to stop watching the scale so much. I am going to try to weigh no more than once a week or so because I find myself upsetty in my spaghetti every time there is not a weight loss or worse, a gain. This time, I will keep reminding myself that healthy weight loss comes with true commitment and hard work. If its too easy, its likely not going to last. The harder I work at getting it off, the more I am going to try to KEEP it off!! Wish me luck and send prayers :)
