Fall is always so beautiful. The acorns and walnuts are falling like crazy. I can hear the acorns pelting the deck and the roof all night. Golf went well yesterday morning followed by bowling league in the evening. it sounds like a lot to do in a day, but we only have 2 more weeks of golf league and then it will be just bowling until spring. I ate way too much bread yesterday, but I have resumed control. I need to get stocked up again on things I should eat instead of bread. We ate the last of the tomatoes and the plants are gone. Now I will have to buy them. My favorites are the cherub tomatoes, sweet and satisfying. I highly recommend them when fresh homegrown tomatoes are not available. They are good on a salad and also as a snack.
