Whew!!! I took my granddaughter and great grandson shopping for their birthdays Thursday. What an experience. I let them pick out what they wanted. My granddaughter was easy, she wanted boots and found them right away. The great grandson (her son) was a little harder. He is going to be 4 yrs old and he was really excited to pick out what he wanted in the toy department. He changed his mind a dozen times. Once we were almost up to the checkout and he said, "I think I don't want that" and we went back for another look. I hope he likes what he picks out, his birthday is Tuesday. He is a little curly headed angel, but when he acts out he is a holy terror.
We ate at Godfather's Pizza and I didn't think I ate much, but today when I recorded everything it was costly. I didn't have supper, but I did eat ice cream after bowling league. OOps, I realize I lost control. I am in a challenge that lasts for 6 weeks I think and this will get me back in line. It starts in 3 days.

Ahhh Pizza. I used to eat it every week when my kids were in soccer. I know that had something to do with keeping me at a less than optimal weight. Still as an occasional treat it won't do too much damage. I'm so glad you are enjoying your grand daughter and great grand son. These times are what creates great memories. J

Thin crust, light cheese, and veggies .... if you're gonna have pizza, that's the healthy way to do it! ;)

When I have pizza, I usually eat one piece of the thin crust with pepperoni, then if I am still hungry I will just eat the topping of the other piece. It seems to work for me!

Oh my gosh! I LOVE pepperoni! When I was a kid, my dad & I used to make pepperoni and cheese sandwiches ..lol. Starting my diet, I went to a nutritionist (I still see her ~ one of the best ways I've spent my money!), and we discussed pizza. She asked me what kind I preferred, and when I told her I'm definitely a meat eater, she told me that pepperoni is the worst (to my heartbreak ...lol). When I thought about all the grease it creates, what she said makes sense, unfortunately. She was the one who recommended thin crust (wheat), light cheese and veggies. A little pepper on top. SO good! I envy you, Tracy, for still finding success by allowing yourself the pepperoni. I REALLY do .. lol. Wish I were as lucky with my diet! Have a piece for me next time! :-p
