Beth2794's Journal, 27 Jun 22

Proud to say I am at 270. Since last year January my goal was to avoid the dreaded 300 I was creeping up on. I started setting small goals. I have many health issues that effect my weight and it so crucial everything is done very carefully. So I started setting small 5 lb goals. Early this year my goal was to stay below 300 then 295, 290, and so on. During the last month I was aiming to stay below 280. Now my weight wavers between 263 and 268. This morning I was 269.4. I'm very proud of myself. It's a strange feeling. I am very grateful for all my doctor's, family, and friends who are supporting me in my journey to be healthy and happy. as my doctor's scramble to keep me alive, healthy, and happy I am more and more appreciative I have healthcare, resources, support, and more. it is not always easy. it was a fight to get here, but I'm grateful. I am also finding myself able to spread the love by helping others, as those who helped me are a big reason I'm where I'm at today. I hope everyone has a wonderful day and great week.

5lbs at a time keeps it more doable. Not as daunting. Thank you for the reminder and also sharing your story. Wishing you all the best :-)

You have many people supporting you and now all you have to do is — keep doing it. Crucial that along the journey you develop a way of eating that you can live with. Not a diet, but a permanent lifestyle change.
