So annoyed right now. My last weigh in was on a different scale which I knew was probably wrong. But this is from my original scale. Problem is, depending on how I stand on it it goes up and down 13 pounds. I never noticed that til now. I need to return this hunk of junk and buy a digital one.
I wouldn’t be surprised if I gained. I went over my calories yesterday. Not by much but I already have the goal set high. I ate 110 grams of protein so a lot of those calories were needed. All my muscles are sore except for abs but today is ab day *sighs*
91.6 kg Lost so far: 3.2 kg.    Still to go: 5.4 kg.    Diet followed: Reasonably Well.

Is it sitting on a hard solid surface? Cuz I had that problem. And think of soreness as neeeeeewwwwww muscles! Keep going! 💪

There aren’t too many flat spots on this old hardwood floor lol I’ll need to pick a better spot. And yes! I will keep going! If I’m remembering correctly, I’ll have about 2 months of soreness until my body fully accepts what I’m trying to do to it.

Dawnie, sounds like your scale and body have paired up to conspire against you! 😉 You know what to do. 👍💕

I have a “special” spot I place my scale so all four corners are in contact with the floor. It’s digital and sensitive to battery strength.

@Mac_Rose: I was gonna say battery issues also! My scale gives or takes a few pounds as it's nearing the end of battery life! It's a struggle! 😂

Battery life was the problem I had with the last one so I bought one with the dial! LOL! I do know what to do so I guess I’ll just keep doing it and not worry too much about the number.

Exactly right. If you know your cals, you know where your deficit needs to be. I haven’t weighed myself in a while, but I know I’m trimming down fats just from the mirror

All scales are different, including digital ones. It's hard finding an accurate one

Oh that is so maddening. I changed from a vintage analog scale to digital a few years ago and boy is it a head trip!!

Measuring and taking pictures is probably the best way to track progress but I’m too heavy to be able to see the difference and I don’t even want to see the inches 🥲 I know some ppl don’t care about the scale but it really motivates me when I see it going down. Gets me excited! I get a little ocd about it XD

My scale does the same thing. Also, the scale pointed out that my flat floor is not so even. Double frustration. Don't give up!

Good job! For the sore muscles, lol…ya get a digital. Use a 5 or 10 (or whatever you gave) hand weight to make sure it’s accurate. Personally, I don’t like the scale because it messes with my mojo.. even if it says I lost weight! Yep! Head games.. hehe.. but if it works for your mojo, then keep using it! BUT, it’s honest. So, with that, you have to take the bad days with the good;) if you gain, keep going. If you get frustrated, and want to quit, don’t. Visualize how you want to look at the end of your rainbow. Good luck Friend!!

That's why I measure every 2 weeks. I weigh myself 2xs a week but even my digital scale messes up occasionally.

Keep chipping away at it, Dawnie.
