I'm happy with this loss today. I don't think I have to wonder if this is water weight any longer. I'm still waiting to experience that day when my clothes are all too loose (that would probably happen a lot sooner if I hadn't waited until my clothes were too tight to start this lifestyle change!)

GoodMan wants to eat at B-dub's tonight because they are having a fundraiser for a musician who attends our church. I looked up food choices on the FS app on my smartphone and pre-logged them in my food diary for tonight. It's sooooo nice to be able to plan ahead. This way I can plan the other meals of the day while knowing what my calories/carbs/proteins etc. will be for my dinner. The other benefit is I won't even have to LOOK at the menu and be tempted. I know there will come a time when I will be able to make those choices at the restaurant, but right now it seems like a good idea to make sure I stay on track.

Another item in my "Plan to Succeed" tool kit is a plan to have a snack before we go to dinner tonight. I'll make sure it is something I really enjoy. That way I won't feel as tempted to go off-plan and I won't feel as deprived as I might if I just "powered through on will power."

Thanks, Deb_N. It was nice to get away from the house, although the music was so loud I had to point to my smartphone for my server to know what I wanted to order. GoodMan and I never got a chance to talk...I miss that. With 6 full-time houseguests we don't get much alone time. I plan to swim with him sometime today. That used to be our talking time. We'll see if the grands will cooperate. :)

There is a famous restaurant [it has Cheesecake in its name] but it is so loud that you cannot hear what the people on the other side of the table are saying! Whoever is sitting beside me leans over and yells into my ear. When I am asked where do I want to go eat, I say any place but there. Good luck with the swimming!
