drum 🥁 roll F for failure I have officially gained 23.6lbs out of the 100lbs lost in a period of 10 months since my foot injury. Stress 😩 has taken over me again along with just extreme sadness 😔 I hate it here.
Along with not being as active not exceeding 4,000 steps a day because that's all I can tolerate I know everything I been doing wrong but can't seem to kick myself out of it. Every week I start over and by day 3 I give up again 😪. I no longer fit in my smaller summer clothes of last yr, having stomach problems again, migraines are back, and iron still dropping big difference. Things I'm doing differently are I stopped drinking atleast 1 gallon of water a day, not sleeping atleast 8 hrs uninterrupted, not staying under 15 grams of sugar, eating alot of simple carbs, dessert everyday 😋 atleast a cookie, too much rice and bread, no intermittent fasting, and last but not least no logging my calories for the last 3 months recipe for failure. Somehow I'm not as motivated as I was at the beginning of my journey and still getting the compliments that I look amazing not helping make feel too comfortable I guess. That scale keeps going up and up as my mood drops and drops.
77.8 kg Lost so far: 34.7 kg.    Still to go: 10.7 kg.    Diet followed: Reasonably Well.
Gaining 0.2 kg a Week

Keep the faith! You already know HOW to do this! Yes, you still look FABULOUS! When you are ready, you will get back on track! Try to eliminate the negative self talk - it's VERY disruptive to growth! (This is advise I should take also!) Try again tomorrow- every day is a good day to start again! Keep smiling and do the next "right" thing! You GOT this - I mean really YOU GOT THIS! 💪💯📉👀👏

So sorry Tr3, I'm doing much the same as you, but let's not give up. I start each day planning to follow my plan and some days are better than others, but I know that inspiration will come back, and meanwhile, I'm doing as much damage control as I can. We CAN do this!!! (((HUGS)))

Every good choice that you make is a win. As I told someone else, Please put down the stick and pick up the pom poms! Would you talk to your best friend the way you are talking to yourself? You're way stronger than you think! 💕💕💕

For what it’s worth, I have faith in you to turn this around. Prove me wrong and I’m gonna have to kick your butt. How’s that?

I had the same problem, Thanksgiving - Valentines Day. Gained 10 lbs back! Finally motivation is here again. You can do this too!

I'm having the same problems. I am not tracking my food, eating snacks like you name it. sitting down watching Netflix and eating ice cream. not doing chores daily and waiting for them to get to the point where I HAVE to do them. I even picked up cigarettes. hey, maybe a few of us who are failing start a competition or something, then we might be able to get back on track. We would just have to jeep logging in daily here and taking pictures and accounting for each and every meal. follow me, I'll follow you. Let me know if you want to do this and we can get more than just us involved. just a 1 month challenge to help us get back on track.

That is a great idea JayBeJay - to form a group for a "Back on track" motivation - you keep on it - stick with us - I know that your life has taken more than a few changes in direction since just this new year (mine and many others have as well) --- but --- you stick with us --- try to just log the food even if you do not make the RDI --- and I will try to do the same ---- I am floundering here. We stick together even if we end up having to get on our Fat clothes again...we stick together --- okay! (this post is unedited) tr3vi28

In the first half of last year, in six months for a money challenge I lost 20 lbs, and on me that is nearly 4 sizes. As soon as it was done, I started binging on sweets and high carbs. going back up. In 5 months I gained 25 pounds. When I am binging I don't understand people who are being strict plus I don't know how to stop the merry-go-round. When I am being strict, I don't understand people that are binging but I know I can be right back there tomorrow and it scares me. My weight was higher than it ever was in my entire life and I am 3 1/4 inches shorter now. That's really a lot so my whole figure has changed and it's hard to accept. I'm sorry you are in a hard place and can only say I care about you no matter what weight you are or what you are doing. I became sick of myself. I don't know if you will. But I do know that sweets, artificial sweeteners, and high carbs especially modern day wheat will make you depressed, not handle stress well, plus other negative consequences. It's a vicious cycle. Much love to you, and I'm sending a great big hug. May I please say without offending you that I will be praying for you?
