The air conditioner is working and I slept like a baby last night. We turned it on yesterday, summer is here. I ate like a crazy person on father's day and I am now back to a normal routine. I can't wait to have a ripe tomato! We have a good crop going on this summer and as soon as they ripen up I am having a BLT with cheese and fried egg sandwich. It was my mother's sandwich invention. A full meal! We have been getting farm fresh eggs from a local farmer and there is nothing better. I must be hungry, I keep writing about food. The scale was good to me this morning. I bought a pair of shorts at a garage sale, they were my size, but when I got them home and tried them on they were a bit tight, the pockets gaped and didn't lie flat. I think I need to lose 5 or 6 more pounds if I want to wear them.
