Same today.... Oh well. I had good intentions of walking last night after dinner. Well, 8pm rolls around and I'm running out of steam. I just work too hard all day I guess. So, if I'm going to exercise I guess it should be right after work. Then, there is the dilemma of eating too late, which I cannot eat after 7 or 7:30 at the latest. Hooboy.

Terra, I work very early hours by choice. By doing so... I can then workout in mid afternoon, and be home in time for dinner at a reasonable time... THEN I "run out of steam"... Is this something you can do?

I'm right there with you! I work 8:30AM-5:00PM. I have never been able to consistently motivate myself to work out in the morning so I try to push myself in the evenings. I don't get home until 5:30-ish and I have a little boy and a husband who are both ready for dinner by 6:00. It's non-stop go,go,go until our son goes to bed at 8:00 and then I'm about done in. Let me know if you find any tricks for extra motivation after 8:00PM! Hang in there!

I cannot workout after work, I just can't....so I have been making myself get up half an hour earlier than what I usually do for work and run/walk at least one mile, if I run I try to make it two...it stunk at first but I've been doing it for 2 months now and if I don't get up I'm so disappointed in myself...plus I have so much more energy by the time I get to work....

As much as I admire those who are, I am not one of those people who can bounce right out of bed and start doing anything. (laughing at myself) I work 8:30 to ?? 5:30, 6, 6:30.. whatever it takes to get my stuff done, or I just say ENOUGH and go home. It's about 30 minutes from work to home, longer if I leave early (Dallas traffic), so sometimes I get home around 7pm'ish. I wore my walking shoes to work today and I've walked down to the IT directors office 3 or 4 times. That is 212 steps round trip, so I guess that's something. Thank you everyone for your support and suggestions! I'm glad to hear from each one of you and feel your understanding!
