This is actually weight from last Thursday before we left home heading for South Padre Island. We arrived yesterday and I won't have access to a scale for a month. I mostly rely of portion control rather than low carb while I'm here, but stay as low carb as awesome Tex Mex allows! Took my first walk on the beach this afternoon and got my toes in the surf. Still pretty chilly in mid 60's today, but supposed to be in the mid 70's tomorrow. We will go up into the Rio Grande Valley tomorrow to a big flea market to get colored peppers, jimcama, pineapple, grapefruit, and other fresh veggies. Lots of other stuff there too, clothes, jewelry, antiques, you name it. We will stay on the island for a month, Missed the last 2 years because we were caring for my mother in law and couldn't get away.

Know you are in Texas away from home but this morning again read all your journals from the last 2 12 years. Although I've read it all before, it made me feel closer to you. I feel very alone with my husband throwing some of my things away and threatening me. It feels good to connect to your wonderful personality and the ups and downs of your life. It even felt good hearing about your humanness when it was difficult dealing with your MIL outbursts. Dealing with all her stuff made me think of the difficulties of my sister dying last year, and now our daughter wants me to get rid of a lot of my stuff. I'm very tense about it and even get nervous for her to come to visit because she is very critical of me. My husband has cancer although is not sick from it yet, but is planning to sell or give away his table saw, rotary arm saw, tools, camping gear, etc. A year ago he was talking suicide. I better go start getting ready for church. Thank you for this time this morning feeling like I connected with the outside world. My husband does not hit me but last Sunday threw me around some. Tonight is trash night so he will throw more of my stuff away. I wrote about some of it in two comments to my last journal with the picture of me. I hate to be honest about my life because of some of the severe criticism I received even by private messages. He said he won't kill me unless I "ask for it". Thank you for being you, you are so very precious. The Lord bless you and keep you. The Lord make His face shine upon you. Hope you have a good month away. How awful of me to put this on you. I should not tell you what he says to me. Anyway, it was his answer to my question. If this is sin, telling you this much please forgive me and pray for yourself to let it all go. I'm very ready to die, I get to spend all eternity in Heaven with my Lord.
