👌 That was really unexpected. I eat three times as much as during my dieting period and the weight is still going down. Yes, you told me so 🤭 Eating balanced, cooking from scratch, favoring protein, drinking a lot of water and trying to get some 7h+ nights are the main reasons I can think of. 19.7 BMI is getting low, but I'm healthy both mentally and physically so not too worry. I just need to get myself to exercise, if only a little bit. Be well everybody, stay strong.

I forgot, 169 days without alcohol also helped.

congrats on 169! I am on 16 and about to crack🙄 I suspect that has a lot to do with your loss. Well done!

Fantastic Eral 🎉💪🏼🎉 Takes strength!!

Keep at it EggBeater42, the first days are the hardest, even without withdrawal symptoms. It's just a matter of killing the habit and not compensating with anything else. That's how I ended up keeping tabs on my food intake and consequently eating better. It kept my mind busy and broke the routine.

Thank you YG, I can be very stubborn when I am set on something. Sometimes it's a default but in this case it helps. Pushing out the social pressure was an unexpected difficulty.

IMO, being stubborn is required on this journey of ours 🤷‍♀️💪🏼🌟

Love that you are so self aware and not afraid to consider readjusting. Isn’t amazing how many vegetables can be consumed vs packaged super processed stuff?

What a fantastic job you've done Eral! And 169 days without alcohol is excellent! As for exercise, I don't know where you live, but this is a great time of year to get outside, take a walk and enjoy the beauty of nature. I used to love to walk early in the morning so I could see the sun rise. 🍁

Thank you all, I was not expecting so much attention and support with this post. I am lucky enough to be in good health, so I can eat and drink anything I like as much as I like without t too much apparent damage. However, after a year staying at home because of COVID, I realized that a reset would be a good idea. It went better than I expected, now let's see if I can keep at it long enough that it becomes a new way of life. At 55, I think it's a good time to flatten my belly before a bulging abdomen becomes an accepted inevitable fact of sedentary life. I proved to myself it did not have to be, even without exercise. Thank you again, stay safe, stay strong, stay healthy.
