Fritzy 22's Journal, 02 Nov 21

Day one results. I said I'd post my weight every day at least for awhile. Wasn't expecting this exactly. This morning the scale kept giving me an "E", maybe for error. Then I tried again. I got 5 different weights showing me from losing .2 pounds to losing up to 1.6 pounds. Never got the same weight twice. So I changed the batteries and got the exact same weight 3 times so that's what I am posting.

Fritzy, I am so glad you were willing to make the effort to change the battery and get a more valid weight reading. Doing something daily in the way of tracking our weight, food intake or activity helps many of us and is often the cornerstone to our success. I sincerely hope it will help you too! Keep posting and we will keep checking in and encouraging you. Have a good day!

Aha...you got the "smartscale" I returned, didn't you (lol). You had more patience with yours than I did with mine. So far the basic digital I have now is doing just fine, so while the bells and whistles were nice, I'm happier with just getting my weight and no Error, or LO battery messages. Your number probably went up from all the aggravation you had to deal with causing water retention. Jus sayin...

Thanks Brenda and Jeannie - I've had my digital scale for over 10 years. I thought maybe it was solar or something but then needed to change the battery a couple years ago. The weight on this scale is exactly the same as what it is when I go to the doctor. I weigh myself at home with my shoes on before my appointment to know exactly what the weight will be that my doctor will see. It may be getting too old to be accurate, not sure. I may look for another one - Jeannie it doesn't need to be smart, just accurate.
