*sigh* still in range but I sure wish it was the bottom of my range not the top 😝. Considering I’m eating 1800-2400 more days than not it’s not so bad!

Started back to the gym… sorta… 1-2 days a week and 15-30 minutes usually. Bar only and sometimes 5-10# weights on it. 8-12# dumbbells, 60# on cable row and lats, cable curls are 10-15#. I feel weak and like I should be moving up faster but my dr told me yesterday that he thought I should be up to 20# already. Total or per side of the bar? He said total. Ok so the bar is 45 so that’s 65… I can move up to that probably. Then he clarified 20# total INCLUDING the bar. Umm the bar is 45# dude! Can’t lift just half of it 😂. So new restrictions. I can keep with the bar but go up 2.5# per week max…. I got him to agree to 5# so I can put 2.5 on each side. BUT every so often I have to go a week with not adding anything. And he would prefer I stay with the bar for another few weeks. So… not doing as bad as I thought. I am based on where I was but I’m more than the dr wants so it evens out I guess. And I can do as much as I want on legs as long as I don’t use my upper body for anything. So I can’t even grab the hand holds 😯. Yeah that’s not happening lol. Squats at home it is! Man I hate squats. Not as much as lunges tho!

Anywho stir fry all prepped for dinner tonight. The veggies anyway. Have to slice up the chicken once it’s thawed then cook it al in 5-6 hours.

Yes, after my two surgeries, I had to be patient and get back slowly. You will get there!

HCB yes! But it seems to take forever. With reconstruction there are always upcoming surgeries and restrictions constantly. In the past I’ve broken them but it’s almost over so I’m terrified of messing something up so I’m going slow! My elbows kill me on curls and my right shoulder doesn’t like lat raises and bench. If I’m honest, those are what’s keeping me at lower weights right now. I like to do stuff and if I can’t move my shoulder because I pulled it again or the tendons on my elbows or whatever it is hurts too bad that it limits my pain free movement then it sucks lol. If those things didn’t hurt I’d probably push through the discomfort in my muscles. So those tendons are hurting for a reason and I think the reason is to make sure I DO go super slow! How are you doing? All healed up from your last surgery?

DP not looking great lol. Much softer than before and I looked soft even then 😂. A bit of love handles coming back and a bit more fat on the tummy. It’s those 1800-2400 days! Not enough 800-1500 days to counter balance them. Oh well. I’d say I’ll do better but we all know I won’t 😂. I will eventually but I’m so enjoying food right now! To balance it a bit I made stir fry tonight! Like 700 kcal and I only ate half. That’s a free lunch one day 😛. I’m not taking out half from today’s numbers so it’ll show higher today and lower Friday when I eat the rest. I made so much that everyone has another full serving of their own pan! (Everyone likes different stuff and since I make so much it’s easier to make everyone their own skillet except two kids like the same things so they share a big skillet). Hope you are well!
