Just realized I may have some IBS issues and that there are some FODMAPs that have been causing most of my issues with bloating, IBS, and just not being able to lose weight. It was an iPhone app that helped me choose the foods that I should focus on, and which ones to completely drop out of my diet. This is a big revelation for me because before a few days ago, I couldn't figure out why I wasn't loosing weight with fewer calories. Simply put, my gut couldn't digest the foods fast enough and my gut just kept piling on the foods. Crazy. What I'm eating now is what I love, from beef, lamb, goat, bacon, eggs, cheese, potatoes, etc. I have to avoid wheat and some dairy products, among others; but, will try alternatives like spelt and almond milk (FODMAP safe). Can anyone give an honest opinion on the taste of spelt pasta, pizza, and bread?

So far, I've been feeling so much better after a few days of being on a FODMAP diet, and the gut is starting to shrink.
