MENTAL PAUSE - Looking back through my weight loss history chart I can visually see since November 29th, 2010 I have been juggling my numbers between 145 and 150. It appears since I hit the 150 number my mind has been in Mental Pause. In this Maintenance Mode I have maintained my current weight through Christmas, New Years, Valentines Day, and through most of the cold Winter hibernation months.

I must tell you that I have not felt like I am "Dieting" which is most wonderful. My mind-set has been on auto pilot for the past 3 months. The words "I-Deal or word IDEAL weight has been strong in my mind. At this moment my ideal weight is the weight I can deal with.

In 2010 my "I-Deal" weight was 45 pounds higher then it is now. To keep this present weight I watch my calorie intake and make sure I get in 4 to 7 days of intentional exercise per week. The new habits I incorporated to lose the weight is strongly rooted in my daily routine.

The past few days my mind-set feels like it is shifting into gear as their has been a spring in my step and that wonderful drive to get out of my comfort zone and try new tactics and challenges to bring myself to my Goal Weight. Spring a time of renewal. I am super excited to learn new thought processes to reach and maintain my "I-Deal Goal Weight", because feeling in control without struggle feels Great and I am worth the effort:) TOWANDA!!!!!!

67.1 kg Lost so far: 20.4 kg.    Still to go: 5.9 kg.    Diet followed: Reasonably Well.

You so so worth it girlfriend. :) Always admire your positive thinking and how you train your mind not just your body. Mental stress can have negative effects - an area i like working on too. Really like your take on "I Deal" - maintaining all through those winter months and holidays is awesome!!! Congrats. :)))

I think it is a new symptom as change brings new experience and observations lol....140 here I come, to maintenance and beyond!!! TOWANDA!!!!

I think we both have spring fever! I'm feeling the excitement in the air too. Time to shake up the routine.

Mary and I just sold a bagillion boxes of thin mints, caramel delights, shortbread cookies, thanks a lots, peanut butter patties, peanut butter, lemon aids and shout outs!!!! Im fine, thank you very much lol. TOWANDA!!!!
