The result from a month of reckless eating and neglect to monitor. Why? I wish I knew.
97.1 kg Lost so far: 22.7 kg.    Still to go: 10.9 kg.    Diet followed: Reasonably Well.
Gaining 3.8 kg a Week

😂. Mine too! Only it was this past 3 weeks. AND all from stress-eating. Everything will be ok. It’s the start of a new week and time to change things up. I intend on my scale to be 1.5# less next week!

tinytot12, thank you for the support. I understand stress is a trigger for many. I wish I could say the past month was due to stress, but I have almost no stress in my life at present. It could be a hedonistic streak that must end.

Be gentle with yourself It happen to us all. You recognized it and now get back on track. You can do this! Same thing happened to my wife and I when we moved out of state. Put on almost 20 pounds it was more like a month and a half of recklessness. Between the 3 Day Rd. trip and moving it was fun though. 😋😊 Good luck on your healthy lifestyle journey! 🎉👍😊🍀

damablack13, yup! I'm getting ready to go play 3 hours of pickleball as we speak. That will be a nice start. I'm actually not upset. I just came to the realization that I erased a month's worth of work and now I must lose that weight again. I suppose that if this was easy, we would all be an ideal version of ourself and fs probably wouldn't exist.

Sometimes we get rebellious and self-sabotaging. There are times I want to eat everything people say I shouldn't, not measure it, and not live my life attached to my scales (food scale, body scale) to go against all the teachings. I know that's only harming myself but I really hate rules.

I am ALWAYS asking myself WHY when I do the same. The best I've come up with is, I seem to like the challenge of losing. It gives me purpose and something to strive for. I don't seem to get the same 'high' from maintaining, I get bored. Weird....

It happens. I had some really not good things happen in April and continue to May. I then decided to enjoy my birthday and Father’s Day and restart after them. I gave myself time to indulge and get my mind right again. I’m already down! You’ve got this.
