Now there's a number I haven't seen in a bit: a 4k calorie day again finally! Busy, busy, busy today so this little guy's gotta eat!

I cut back on fiber lately. This is all simple carbs today to fuel the workout. Normally, it's oatmeal and broccoli that send my fiber up over 40g/day! I cut down on gym days to prevent having the next person walk into a lingering fart cloud in the squat rack 🤮

My first thought was the same as crazycatchick's - how can one have so little fibre with so many carbs? But you answered that.

But that makes me think of a potential disadvantage of whole foods - too MUCH fibre can be an issue for people intentionally eating high-calorie diets to gain weight or get their period back. Processed food for the win.

How do you get so much protein? I really struggle to get just 70g. 😏(But also not a fan of eggs, protein shakes, or meat—aside from steak. 😆)

Correction to Mermee: Chris is a whole foods organic vegan most of the time. 100g of fibre a day, only clean unprocessed ingredients for him.

Chris and I have followed a similar awakening from religious ritualistic "butter in the coffee" keto to IIFYM. Except I don't have big muscles. Lol @ Mermee!

Just mix some metamucil into your morning and evening Almond Breeze unsweetened almond milk. It shouldnt mess up your macros since it is all fiber.

Tree bark is free if harvested from your own yard. So I recall the metamucil suggestion.

How many calories would he burn harvesting tree bark? Any skilled wood choppers out there ? He will need to add that into his calorie burn.
