ACCOUNTABILITY. I will be doing a Mary's Mini (10 days) starting on the 31st.

That should give me enough time to eat my way through all of the bad choices that are currently living in my fridge. I would start it sooner, but I don't trust myself to get thru AME and stay on plan.

If you start now it will make the process easier. You know what your weaknesses are cut back from them. It's hard but you can do it.

Time to clean the fridge. Straight shot to the trash. Don’t wait till you have consumed all the stuff that part of you really does not want.

I freeze anything I can, then I don't feel like I'm wasting it. Also, helps eliminate the pressure that I need to eat it all. One of the best things I've learned on my journey is portion control. It's such a better approach than all or nothing!!! If tempted to eat more I eat a Greek yogurt after. The high protein content helps take away that urge. It also helps to chew gum, or drink tea instead.

I am with you, bearnoggin! I try to cook, portion and freeze. This last year I learned a lot about what all you can freeze! Wondering what AME is... Good luck, Jeannie!

Just take your time and nibble here and there, BUT....make sure you count all of your calories!!! I have to throw things out just bc they expire b4 we have a chance to eat them all. Sad, but true. =)

I also agree with bear. The loudest message on FS by most members is moderation and portion control and never giving up the foods you like to eat. Throwing foods you like in the trash is not the answer and will end up making you feel resentful. so portion it out and freeze most of it and allow yourself some each day or week in moderation. i googled that 10 day and it sounds interesting. good luck !!

I also use green tea & sugar free gum to keep my mouth busy between meals. When needed a big help. 🍀

I’m actually losing more now I allow myself to eat something I really want. Portion control so much better than starving self or feeling like I’m punishing myself. I believe, it helps so much. Believe in yourself!! You’re good! Just keep trying!!🍀
