I am checking in a day early. Tomorrow morning I have some early morning commitments so this is the best time.

Good news is that I have dropped 3 pounds. Fact is last week I weighed in after a large meal so my one pound gain was misleading. This week is rolling up last week's work and this week's into one. I am pleased to see that when I return to eating my 'normal' way after a day of eating off of 'normal' that my body quickly adjusts.

The last couple of days I have been dipping into the nuts beyond what is my plan and I have been slipping in a few dates. I am countering this with eating some raw carrots as they are sweet and take a bit to eat. My carrots are sourced locally and are fresh and sweet so they are a true treat!

I have been attending quite a few meetings for the Women's Shelter this past week - 4 meetings! This is unusual but the way things worked out. Most of it is committee work.

I have been tackling my garage - I have about 10 hours of work completed in just this one week. I am still not done but I am getting much closer! Hopefully it will be completed next week.

The weather here has been quite wonky - we have had relatively warm weather, rain, high winds and snow in the last 7 days!
78.0 kg Lost so far: 43.8 kg.    Still to go: 0.9 kg.    Diet followed: Reasonably Well.

Shirfleur, Erq and HCB I appreciate the encouragement! I am feeling pretty good about my progress in general but it is nice to have confirmation! I am definitely the slow but sure girl.
