Knew you would do it. Sorry you are so cold all the time. Do you have a check up scheduled any time soon? Just wondering if you should have your thyroid levels checked? It is likely just a 'symptom' of losing a lot of body fat but if it is THAT bad it might be something to think about. Congrats on rocking the numbers. I'm still a tad up but I have faith that I will drop again as I have been below 1,000 the last two days. I can't believe how difficult it is to get enough calories in these days. Guess I'll have to up the fats :) Forgot about that.

Wow Bill I just checked the math, the numbers projection thingie that you and Rob are using (Carson Chow) and believe it or not I am spot on. They say I should be 183.6 and I am 183.2. Holy Cow. You could be right, who would have thunk it. Makes me smile. I'm not supposed to see 182.8 until Dec 15 but I am sure I will see it again before the week-end. however, this Saturday will be a big indulgence day as have a drinking party on Saturday afternoon with lots of things like butter tarts, cheese, crackers, alcohol, so I can wait for the 'weight' as I'm right on track. I'm so excited :)

I do have a very low resting heart rate. Always under 60 but sometimes in the 30s or 40s. Normal for an athlete but not sure for a 55 year old that walks 40 minutes a day. Still, when I work out, I can get to my target heart rate soon enough and my recovery rate to a normal heart rate is great. Hoping it's just fitness but will probably talk to a doctor just to be safe in January. Doing some reading about it. Thanks for the comments and good luck on getting back down.

That's great, Isabel! I'm hoping for 206-208 again before the weekend when my son gets home. After that, I will have to be very sneaky to stay at the calorie goal I want.

It's a difficult time of year to lose weight that is for sure. I bet you can't wait to see your son, or for him to see you. He sounds like a lovely strapping lad. He is in the military isn't he? Very proud parents I am sure. Did you answer my question the other day, how is your brother doing - he 'lost' his wife just a few months ago?

Yes, proud for sure. Jason is in the US Navy. He serves on a destroyer based out of the Tokyo area. Yes, I replied about Fred. He became a granddad again with a second son born to my niece Samantha the same day you asked!

Sorry I guess I missed the reply. It's great he's a granddad again, that will ease some of the pain for sure. And yes I now remember you son is in the Navy. I don't know how these young men and women do it, serve the way they do, they are made of some great stuff. Thank him for keeping us all safe.

Will do. I did six years in the navy myself but then wanted him and his sister to go to college. He didn't want to go and chose the navy instead. He is seeing a lot of the world which I got to do myself. Nice way to start a life.

Seeing the world is an education of a different sort. And it's great that he's following in your footsteps.

Yes on both counts! It's so easy to get isolated in your own country. Mark Twain had a great quote about travel that I forget...
