I started with a modified military diet. 3 days on of reduced calorie intake followed by 4 days of normal (weight loss) eating. I ate less than they recommend because I am sedentary for the moment and I have health issues that require me to eat small meals.I am also doing intermittent fasting which can increase your results. The military diet suggests weighing in on the morning of the 4th day, I lost 5lbs in three days. I will weigh in again when I repeat the cycle. This cycle of 3 days on and 4 days off can be and will be repeated and they have menu suggestions for all 4 days as well. The military diet claims you can lose up to 10lbs in 1 week, depending on how over weight you are, the heavier you are the more weight you can lose. I probably could have lost more if I drank the recommended water religiously and did not use salt....but there is always a next time. I am beginning the 4 days on today.
