Back to the gym today. I've done cardio the last two days at home. It was fun but not enough. My daughters decided they were going to exercise with me...15&12- both were disgusted how much more easily I could follow the program and how much less winded I was. 46 year old mom in better shape. Gave me a ridiculous /inaccurate amount of steps in a short period of time but I worked up a sweat eventually and it was fun. May incorporate it in addition to the gym...Definitely not in place of. More as a last resort to not sitting on the couch all night.
80.7 kg Lost so far: 32.2 kg.    Still to go: 0 kg.    Diet followed: Reasonably Well.

46...😬 But I act like I'm 12 so it keeps me young. And when I was 27, I couldn't even carry in my groceries without being out of breath. 😢 that was my fattest age.

I love it! [Story warning .⚠️] This reminds me of the time that I took a yoga class with my just out of high school daughters at junior college. One of my daughters was always being singled out by the teacher as an example of how to properly execute certain poses. My older daughter and I called her the teacher's pet. I was like 40-41, so my girls were very limber and completely out did me on most of the moves in class. Until one day we had to work on headstands. Well, for some reason, probably something to do with Jack Lalane, I used to practice doing headstands as a kid, so when it came time for demonstrating my girls had a hard time, while I easily got into a headstand without a problem. The teacher even commented on how Mom has able to do it, but the daughters couldn't. I loved that day! Did I mention our family can all be a bit competitive. 😄🙋‍♀️🤸‍♀️🧘‍♀️🙃 Good job Mama DP! Amazing role model for your daughters. 💕👍

DP I act the same way when I want too. 16 is the age I like. All whiney on purpose and dramatic. 🤣🤣🤣 Becky you’re so cool!! I wish I could do a headstand. You beat me on that one!!! 😊

Lol @ your daughters' reaction. I remember back when I was a teenager, my main exercise was the elliptical for a while and the first time I ran outside with my dad, I was disgusted at how easily he could outrun me (years of cross-country).

LC, my dad was ran track in high school! He was an awesome runner. I have a scrapbook he made with all of his sports memorabilia. 🏃👍

Love the post. Wish I was motivated to get in as much physical activity as you. For me right now, housework and laundry and scooping litter boxes is about all I do.

You go!! Love your post. I played on a women's softball until I was 48 along 20 something's. Played every game. At one point both my daughter's were on the team. Most never knew I was that old. Such Fun!

Hi DP, I incorporated the aerobics and found when weight loss was much improved...the gym in addition sounds great to me....good luck! PS....I watch on youtube Total Body Project workouts and switch them around everyday....

ccandco, yes, my dad was too 🏃I've seen some of his medals and only photos. I can't believe how lean he was then, but well, he was running at least 2 hours a day almost every day.

I've been doing it at night so that I don't sit down, don't get cold and can't eat if I'm walking/running/lifting or dancing. and I'm tired when I'm done. seems to be working.
