I'm recording this "gain" today but I know it has to do with my bowels.

I was diagnosed with IBS as a teen, which usually manifested itself with diarrhea. Stress and certain foods were triggers. My husband called it my "weight loss cheat sheet", as I could have a meal with trigger foods and flush immediately afterwards, resulting in a weight loss.

Last year, I was diagnosed with diverticulosis. I gather it's like mini hernias in the intestine, parts poke thru weak spots. Usually it's due to constipation and straining during the 💩 process. Trust me when I say, I've never had to strain! But one of the fascinating symptoms of diverticulosis *IS* constipation. Which I now have... in abundance! 🙄

Today's weigh-in of course *had* to be on the 3rd day of no 💩. I know the gain is due to it, as yesterday, I weighed 185.8. Needless to say, I'm full of 💩!

Since I do Keto, I can't increase fiber with fruits and grains, so I have been increasing my fiber intake with Metamucil, and the occasional flaxseed recipe. I've ordered some chia seeds and will be including them into my daily diet (if I remember).

Haha! I always try to use the bathroom the evening before I weigh in the morning after 😂

Try avocado jo. And evoo. Some grease is good for the parts! 😉 Doesn’t gross me out, I grew up with my mom having bowel issues her whole life. And a very dear client of mine also had diverticulitis and I’m very familiar with it. Hope you find relief! ❤️

LOL @Destdol, that's usually the plan. Sadly, not working these days.

LOL @Wifey, my mom & Godmother used to use prune juice for their "daily movements". My daily bacon & eggs usually has 1/2 an avocado with salt... tomatoes when I run out of avos. I drink 2Tbs of MCT oil 3-4 times a week, especially when my fat macro is low. Hubby can tell when I take it... *gulp* *gag* *blech* hahahaha I'm greased up like a fat pig. 🐷🐷🐷
