Our food pantry is very well designed and located just off the kitchen for easy access. This is where Mrs. Girth, who has never had a weight problem, keeps her stash of chips, nuts, candy and sodas. With all of these goodies on hand, I live with constant temptation. I know that it's up to me to stay away from them. Most days I do a good job, but on occasion I flub it. Sometimes my diversions are planned and sometimes it's just me being weak and impulsive. Whatever the reason, I've learned to avoid being angry with myself. Instead, I focus on getting back to my goals. I'm posting today as a gentle reminder that when you slip up, remember to forgive yourself, refocus on your goals and then move forward.
