153 IT IS...Yesterday for a flash or two before my eyes I saw the scale say 148 but didn't record it because it wasn't my first weigh in of the day and today the first read on the scale is 153 so I am accepting this as so and will consider the flucking fluctuation as a test from the Scale Gods who are telling me to find my balance:)

I am in the process of switching gyms. I am leaving my current gym of two and a half years which has gone through many hands of management changes and things have been very peculiar in what I have seen and heard going on. It came to the point the other day where I had to stop my ATM so they no longer had access to my account for monthly automatic withdrawal. I am in the process of writing a letter to prevent any future problems with these unbusiness like people. This lesson has been one in standing up for myself and not taking the path of least resistance. When I was a little girl my friend Carla stood up for me when some of our school mates started to spit on me as I cowarded down in fear. This lesson has been coming back to me in different ways since that day some 38 years ago. Slowly but surely I am not allowing anyone to spit on me in a metaphorical way.

So glad you decided to stand up for yourself, this is a lesson that so many of us do not take. I too have been learning to do this for myself recently and it is quite empowering. Sorry to hear that the people that took over your gym are less than business like. I hope you have a wonderful Thanksgiving Day filled with lots of love!

Standing up for oneself is always good and I am proud of you for having the gumption to stand up for what you believe in. Happy Thanksgiving in case you don't journal. I will be journaling.

OMG I too have had a horror story at my gym I go do cardio at... Got sneaked into a brutal contract without knowing really before hand forking over a payment. LA Fitness is a scam as most commercial gyms are but I have stripped them of my banking info and only gave them a prepaid card number for my gym fee. Happy Thanksgiving!

Happy Thanksgiving, Lisa. My hubby has been telling me for years that I need to quit letting people walk on me, to stop being a rug!! I am working on it, and I applaude you for standing up for yourself!!
