Low cal day at work got me back down a bit to 225.1.

I just checked my stats and I've done 2 days back to back of about 800 and 700 cals. Not exactly low low cal but not bad so hoping for a bit of a dip tomorrow.

You are doing great. I did about 1100-1200 today. Will go 600 tomorrow and Thursday.

Good morning, I didn't lose an ounce but I will keep on keeping on. Today I will do higher cals, just to mix it up. Already had a sausage biscuit breakfast and sugar free latte - OMG so freakin good. I was hungry again this morning. Will likely not eat now until supper time which is fine as I don't usually eat until 1pm-ish anyway and now I am full and will be busy at work. Hope you have a great Wednesday if I don't see you til tomorrow :)

Keep on rolling. I gained a bit after dinner myself. I just did a banana and will keep it under 600 today, which will jump start me again. Have a great day.

LOL - "eat something" - did you look at my food diary? I've eaten too much today already :) I did have a bowl if high fibre cereal, told myself it was good for me so worth the carbs :)

Good luck. Just knowing what we are doing helps us. I hit my goal yesterday (601 cals), but was in a pretty pissy mood at the end of the day and ended up doing three single malts to get my back to my cheerful self. That added calories but I've found that the liquor cals do not really set me back. Still, I recorded them.

I have been lucky with alcohol too in that it doesn't set my weight loss efforts back. I am usually down in weight after hard liquor - I don't question it I just say thank you - but it doesn't stick. Sorry you were in a pissy mood, happens to the cheeriest of us, and I am sure the single malt helped a great deal :) I am going on a bender tomorrow night with some young chicks from work - should be a lot of fun, hope I remember than on SAturday morning :)

As to knowing what I am doing, I am a bit confused right now, driving myself nuts actually trying to figure out - IF, low carb, how much protein, what to eat, when to eat, aaaaaargh Someone pass me a donut!

Have fun tonight. I always find that I do pretty well on morning weigh-ins after a happy hour. I try not to overthink the cals. I used to get so bummed at plateaus but I'm finally realizing after a year that they are going to happen and that my body can't "outrun the math." If I stick to my calorie average and maintain the decicit, the weight loss will come. Drink one for me tonight!

Hi. Out of town at a car show. Weighed myself as I left yesterday but didn't get it posted or my food. Will get it all caught up when I get home! Hope you are having a great weekend.

Great! Went to a car show in York, Pennsylvania, where I saw dozens of friends, many of whom I only see at this event each year. They were all blown away by my weight loss. That felt great. Kept my food in check by taking bananas and apples with me and then enjoying dinners out. Back home now and enjoying a beer and some cherries while I unwind from the drive.

Pennsylvania? Wow that is quite the drive from DC! We have been to Pennsylvania a few times when our daughter was small. About a 10 hour drive for us. I am up way too early, 3:30 am, just couldn't sleep so gave up. Since I went thru mentalpause (what I call menopause) I don't sleep like I used to, really pisses me off, I can tell you. I used to be able to sleep anywhere/anytime. Not no more - sigh. So here I am, TV on quiet and trolling the web. Kinda sucks but see your light is on. You are likely in bed and just forgot to log off :) Nice to meet some old friends and indulge in your favorite past-time/hobby at the same tinme. My hubby is a NASCAR fan. We go to Florida in February when we can to catch the races. Going next year in fact, got a condo rented already, going for 3 weeks this time, first time ever we will do 3 weeks, give us a taste of retirement. If its up to me, and we can at all manage it financially we will be down there for a couple of months each winter. Anyway, I could blether on for ever but don't want to bore you to tears. Looking forward to a new journal and new weigh in (from you). I had an indulgence day today, as per a buddy Keld, as in much more calories. I hope to see a wee drop by Monday. I am a bit frustrated and confused, too much info likely but will see how this goes. Will likely do a low cal day at some point in the week also because I kind of enjoy the light days. However when I looked at my diet calendar I had too many low cal days in a row. Likely not the smartest thing to do. So see you around Bill, I would say thanks for listening but you didn't really have a choice - lol :)

I'm up late, too. About to turn in at 4am. Wondering about my morning weigh in as I'm not sure how the weekend went. Indulged with drinking although I kept the food calories relatively low. Talk to you soon.

The lack of sleep is more likely to affect the weight than the alcohol, at least that's my experience. When I haven't slept well for a few days in a row my weight is static. Sleep tight pal, and happy weighing.

Well, slept until 12:30pm (what a bum), but the weight was disappointing. But not worrying about it...
