Weight loss, even a little bit, is so encouraging. I have decided that 1400 calories/day should be my average for the month. Another little experiment to see how that works out.
We're expecting 10 cords of wood delivered today - so I guess our main exercise for the next couple of days, realistically, is stacking it. They do say that heating with wood warms you 3 times. cutting (not our step, thankfully) stacking and burning.
Have a great day all!

You're doing so well Thyme and you've kept at it since January too. I lost 70 pounds by walking every day and reducing calories to about 1300 calories a day. I'm still twenty pounds from a healthy goal and so I've had to reduce calories a bit more, step up the pace and increase my walking time to a couple of half-hour walks. Like you say, even a little loss is encouraging. Watch your back stacking that firewood.

thanks Trillium. You're doing great - I hope to get there this year! walking is so good - my legs are stronger now after biking every day and I will start routinely walking soon too. Wood delivery was delayed but it's here now! Yay...
