Don’t knock yourself out, it’s minuscule. There are a lot off red gains appearing here. Relax. 👍

First take away Tuesday night then left overs for Wednesday lunch, then big dinner Wednesday night so it really isn't a big surprise but no panic here. I can just lose my coat and jumper for the next weigh in, 2 kg drop easy 🤣

Chinese? It’s water from the sodium 👍

Probably need to explain, a lot of Asian food like Chinese use a food enhancer and it’s called Monosodium Glutamate or MSG for short, when you eat a takeaway like a Chinese on a Friday night or any other day it sometimes takes 2 or 3 days to lose the weight but it’s not fat, it’s the sodium that holds the water in your body so thats how long it takes to lose the water from your body which causes the extra weight on the scales that’s why you can’t always trust them unless your sticking to regular foods you normally eat then if you get a change you know you can fine line it down to fat or water. Look up Monosodium Glutamate and it’ll explain hope this helps 👍

That's very interesting.. Explains a lot, I had my first takeaway in weeks (Chinese) and whacked on 3lb overnight!!

paulyd999, yeah monosodium glutamate, or baking soda, sodium nitrite, sodium saccharin, and sodium all hold water. Sometimes you need to trust the mirrors or camera 👍

If you fancy a curry or Chinese it’s always best to learn how to make your own using herbs and spices but without all the salts this is why home cooking is better.
