It took me awhile to get myself back on track after Christmas holidays and then the unexpected death of my Mother and flying 5000 Km , being away from my home for 2 weeks, and going through the grieving process, I was a mess! Not feeling well, not doing well and putting on weight big time and completely lost. I found just going back to step 1 and tracking food on this app has been a great help! Back to my pre Christmas weight and feeling so much better.

So sad for your mum's unexpected passing. Glad you're home and back to your routine, it helps you to cope with the grief. Go easy, be forgiving.

Grieving is so important, just as important is to also be kind to yourself. I follow this Instagram account and this lady has been through think and thin but she also works really hard to be hard on herself in the right way, mainly staying accountable in the gym and with her calorie intake. I think it's ok to be diligent with yourself regarding your goals. Our health and peace of mind come together when we do what is right for us. Sending you prayers and strength!
