Didn’t drink enough water. This cold is wearing me out and I always feel dehydrated (yet I feel water logged when I drink water).

Maybe green tea might help the cold and water retention

Also asparagus. It’s like eating a water pill

I don’t care for green tea or asparagus :/. The water weight will come off once the cold is gone I think. Some of it is muscle gain as I’ve been lifting Really heavy lately.

Just take care of yourself. This is not an everyday situation. Hope you're well soon. ❤

I drink hot lemon tea with cinnamon and pepper flakes when I'm sick. I tend to use stevia more than honey but that's a preference thing. and I know there's nothing new in that choice of beverage, but my brain gets stupid when I'm sick so someone needs to point out the obvious to me.

Run your shower on hot for a few minutes per day. It will help rehydrate your skin and nose/throat. Hope you feel better soon.

Hubby turned on the humidifier and I did run the shower for probably 5 minutes this morning. I always forget about hot tea! I prefer it with a couple splendas. I’ll have to have some when I get home. We are going to an archery tournament for my oldest. There will be little choices as to what I can get there.

Just a suggestion but I''ve found that drinking hot water in my Emergen-C is helpful, it's kinda like drinking Tea but with benefits.

I also mix herbs and spices in a tea ball and make a very large pot of tea, sometimes it is hot tea and other times it can be cold tea. Fennel, cumin, cinnamon etc, and look in the spice section of the store and mix it up and I rarely use sweetner as the mixes are tasty and more like a chai blend.
