I had a stressful day yesterday. I drove my friend home from the meeting and when I went to leave, my car wouldn't start. I love my friend dearly but all I wanted to do was climb out of my clothes and and get comfortable. I called my son and he came and saved me. I swear I don't know what I would do without him. When we got to my house, I heated up some beef stew for him and I had a salad 🥗. the rest of the day was great. my Sundays are my days to spend with him and I look forward to them all week. He is 39 and my youngest. my life has been so good since I made that decision in 97 to stop drinking. I actually got to know who my kids are as people. when they are little, you just worry and as they grow up, they blossom and change into real little people. I'm so greatful.

I'm so glad you have your son to enjoy! To have a good relationship with grown kids is I think the most longed for goal of parenting... The beautiful reward of involment and investment! I'm sorry you had car troubles... That is so frustrating!
