Sorry I’ve been MIA so often. Missing my FS friends. Back at the ER again with my son....2019 is kicking my butt. But I’m also kicking 2019’s
a$$, so whatever. The last month has been wild. Waiting for an open bed at the children’s hospital for my son, and then hopefully I can sleep tons tonight. I’m so tired. Everyday is a test in endurance, strength, pain tolerance, and patience. Tomorrow is leg day, and I’m going to hit it hard. Exercise makes everything feel better, if only for the time I’m panting and sweating.
49.9 kg Lost so far: 25.4 kg.    Still to go: 0 kg.    Diet followed: Reasonably Well.

So grateful for all of the professionals we encountered and worked with yesterday. From the 911 operator, officers, EMTs, nurses, social workers, and clinicians, all of them made an impossible situation just a little more bearable. A little understanding and kindness goes such a long way. Blessed for sure. Thankfully we also got the inpatient unit that is most appropriate for my son’s needs.
