Good luck! Draglist (FS member) is doing something called a mock fast right now. You can check that out. But just eating right works just fine as well in my opinion

@liv001 I have done quite well with just eat healthy as well. It has slowed a bit so I just want to change it up for a kickstart!

I have never heard of that? I cannot fast, I also get sick. I don't do low carb, I just keep my calories low and try to eat healthy.

Just my experience: I have T2D and severe osteoarthritis and had to take an oral anti-hyperglycemic medication (Glucophage/metformin) and an NSAID (Indocin/indomethacin, then Naprosyn/naproxen sodium) every morning and evening. The combination upset my stomach unless I ate first, so I wouldn't consider fasting. Since stopping those meds, I was able to try intermittent fasting (IF- 16:8 to OMAD) and one 54-hour extended fast with no problems.
