Went over my RDI a little yesterday. I was hungry and I thought I had the wiggle room, so I ate a slice of cheese. Then when I was looking at my day, I realized that when I was playing with my numbers/food, I had erased my protein shake so I actually went over a little. Still, I consider it a successful day. I didnt snack out of boredom, I planned my food and included snacks, and I went to the gym. I was hungry at the gym so I need to tweak things a bit. I probably didnt need the protein shake because my goal is 100g, and I hit 140g. I didnt bring one with me today because I was in such a hurry to leave the house (my kid missed the bus - AGAIN).

Since I had to hurry this morning, I literally grabbed some stuff for lunch. I was going to stop and buy breakfast but I remembered I had mini naans so I could toast that with some peanut butter. I was planning on using one for my lunch too, but they looked bad so I had to pitch them. Theres still leftover rice from the weekend in the fridge so Im going to make a rice bowl with some chicken for lunch. It would be so easy to go pick something up, but Im really trying to use what I have and stop spending money. Plus, if I go to the gym before volleyball, then Ill need to grab something on the run.

I went to the gym last night and found out just how sore I am from Tuesday. I used much lighter weights than I usually do. Still sore today but at least I know I worked my muscles. 😁
