Wednesday January 23,2013 Day one (again)
Treadmilled for 45mins on incline 3, speed 2.0 mph. Then 15 mins of what stretches I could do. Am very stiff.
Made a smoothie with water, ice cubes, 1 scoop of mango protein powder, 3/4c frozen strawberries, 3 drops of Stevia, 3/4 bagged coleslaw, 1 banana, 1/2c 0% vanilla yogourt. Actually tastes good!!
Am now making a double batch of Basmati Rice pudding from my GI recipe book, with 7c 1% milk, 1c Basmati rice, 1/2c Xylitol,2 tsp vanilla &
1 tsp cinnamon. This will make 7 servings & I will add to them a large can (28 ozs)of Fruit Cocktail (divided evenly)in juice. These will keep in the fridge until the expiry of my milk (Feb 1) These are to hopefully help my cravings for sugar & chocolate. I've also brought out some frozen homemade Turkey soup & I've made a container of raw vegetables for the fridge. I'm not keen on raw veg, would rather have them cooked. So we'll see how I do today. Trying to think, one day at a time.
I had to go out in the afternoon, so I ate 1 serving of rice & fruit.
For supper, I had a bowl of homemade soup, 1 1/2 pcs of breaded snapper that I did in the oven, & some raw veggies with 1 tbsp ranch dressing for dip.
Went to the hospital for Pool exercises for 30 mins. When I came home, I drank the little bit of smoothie (3 ozs??) that was left in the blender from this morning. Drank both ice water & hot water this evening. Have been "peeing" lots tonight, so quite sure that I'll be down tomorrow morning on the scale. Really have had no cravings tonight. I even watched TV for an hour or so. Did my nails. Plan to go to bed at 10.30pm as I only had 2 hrs of sleep last night. My days & nights are backwards & I need to work to adjust that, so that I will get up & exercise in the mornings & when Spring comes, I'll want to walk outside again, like I used to. I really haven't done much walking in the past year & a half. I'm also quite stiff tonight & achy, so I really need to get back on that treadmill in the morning.
101.0 kg Lost so far: 2.5 kg.    Still to go: 39.7 kg.    Diet followed: Poorly.
Gaining 1.3 kg a Week

45 min. on a treadmill-good for you. That took some endurance. Keep it up and you will get results.
