JMA312's Journal, 06 Aug 19

well I am tired of posting the 0.2 0.6 or whatever weight gain/loss every day. So I will just post/update my weight weekly on Friday. I might still list it in my journal entries if I feel like it, but no "official" update on the weight post until weekly. I have a habit of weighing every day first thing in the morning and as I know that is probably not recommended, it is a difficult habit for me to stop, especially at my age! So please don't try to talk me out of that. But today I feel good. Stayed on my woe. Didn't get to go to the gym today after work. It was storming so much and I thought I left a west window open so had to zip home and check. Fortunately, I beat the storm home and was able to close the window. Now the storm has pasted (typical Florida weather), have the windows open and porch door open and the flies are horrible. I need to get one of those screen things for the door, but not sure the breeze will come through and my kitties like to go on the porch. So I just deal with the flys. I have 2 of those mosquito repellent candles but I think the flies just ignore it. Anyone have a good way to keep away the flies?
Hope all is well in FS land, take care to ALL :-)

It's OK to weigh daily and post weekly or whenever you feel you have something to report. It is more satisfying, I think, to post a larger change.

Have that up and down thing happening on the scale at the moment, and somehow I don't give it attention. Before I did stress about an up morning alot. Hanging around here on FS makes you realize it's perfectly normal with up and down. Found it helpful to know that certain sugars and fibers act as a sponge in the large intestine. An up morning can simply be that you ate a 'sponge' the day before, and the liquid you drink makes this sponge soaking wet and heavy.
