@Cousin Debbie...we need to have a long talk about the evils of soda! And the weakness of the addict! And how I am a very very sorry child today! I didn't lose yesterday but I haven't gained yet either...now I'm on damage control because I consumed 2525 calories yesterday. My macros weren't crazy bad but they weren't awesome either...Fat: 154.0, Fiber: 9.9, Net Carbs: 123.3, and Protein: 150.4...I'm not doing KETO but I am trying for low carb, high protein per the surgeons orders. Very sad, not "The Sad" but still sad. I will do better today!

Hi @Katies71. Just remember, "Life Happens." Sometimes, you have every intention of taking a walk, and then your kid wants to work in the garden instead. Sometimes, you go to bed with perfect macros, and get up in the night and eat. Some days RDI's are WAY over goal! On 3/16, I had 2,630 Calories - but I buckled down and ate LESS than my alottment, and was STILL under for my daily goal. I started at 1,800/day. Just before we started this challenge, I went down to 1,700/day. Every Friday, I am lowering my RDI by 25 points. This week, it is 1,625. By the END of the Swimsuit Challenge it will only be 1,400. Some days I go over, but I just eat lsss on other days. Last week, my RDI was supposed to be 1,650, but I ended up with an average of $1,630. It's all a balancing act. Just an idea - perhaps, for those times when you might wake up during the night, go ahead and figure out what will still fit into your macros, and put THAT on the counter - maybe a Clementine, or 4 grapes, or a stalk of celery with peanut buter on it (in a plastic bag, of course). Try to plan AHEAD for success! You are doing GREAT! Your weight is DOWN when when we started, and it will continue to go down. For your affirmation, perhaps you could say, "I lose weight each and every week!" or "I always keep my calories within my RDI." Saying those things to yourself really helps - especially if you say them out loud. Imagine how many NEGATIVE things you have told yourself over the years! Do something NICE for yourself, and start saying NICE things to yourself, that will mold you into the person you WANT to be!
