This drop is ok with me, I made a HUGE pot of Ham and Beans this week and ate on it for 4 days. Food of Kings I tell ya. But between those and the honey cornbread... yea... not so much weight loss. This week I made homemade Chicken Vegetable soup. Much better on the calorie count. Eating it with a Gluten Free wrap sprayed with olive oil pam and stuck in the air fryer for a few minutes in lieu of crackers.

You all have a wonderful week.

Great drop!

Thanks Keilin, but it's kind of deceptive. I only weigh in here every two weeks. I was an End Stage Renal Disease patient for 10 years which means I completely understand how much water weighs and to not take drops and gains day-to-day too seriously. I got a new kidney in January of last year and one of the drugs they put me on (not to mention the idea that I could eat ANYTHING I WANT) saw me gain over 65 pounds in 6 months. So... I went on a diet and here I am. My goal is to drop 2-ish pounds every week. This is close enough, especially with the yummy yummy pot of ham and beans (something I could not eat for 10 years). It was really good, but it means I was short of my goal. I have 93 more pounds to go before I meet my goal weight of 130, so I expect to be doing this for a long time. I didn't want to starve myself for 2 years on a diet, so I am just doing a calorie deficit type thing. Been going since August 11th and I'm down 48 pounds so far. That 50 pound mark is so elusive. :) Thanks for the support! I really appreciate it.

Kidneys are cool. Don't let anyone tell you otherwise. :) Thanks HCB!

Spleens are pretty cool too. With dialysis, I lived on <3% kidney function for 9 years. Without a spleen, looks like you are at risk for infection. Now I'm kind of in that boat I guess. The transplant drugs' purpose is to suppress my immunity so as not to reject the kidney; therefore, I'm also at risk for serious infections. But, it's a really small price to pay for a functioning kidney. I feel so much better with it. Thanks for the kudos, Chris. I appreciate them!
