Reading a carb cycling book and I’m doing my best to follow it and to stay under my calorie intake on low days and staying on the line for normal days. I just read that I need to drop to 10g of carbs.... my question is how? Everything has carbs other than meat.... any suggestions? Also I seemed to gain. I know this is a slow process but ugh! Haha

I could never drop that low/too low for me so I stuck to 100 and under a day and lost a lot that way. I didn’t want to give everything up and I can’t see how you could do it on 10 carbs a day but maybe some can -I couldn’t

What does it say we should have in a day? I just looked and I’m averaging 150-250 g of carbs.

Everyone is different- I do 20g of carbs per day with the occasional day around 25/30g But I also don’t eat grains. Most of my carbs are from veggies - but I don’t count the leafy greens towards carb count.

Evergreen is in track. My son body builds and carbs cycles. When carb cycling you don’t have to count your green vegetables. I’ve tried to go this low and was unable to do weight training on these days as I didn’t have the energy. It’s different for everyone. Try it out! 😊

Terry have you seen the Ketogains web site? Has Keto bodybuilding on it - also TKD (targeted Keto diet) and CKD (cyclical Keto diet - carb ups are used weekly or biweekly depending on body and need) are used by some to prevent the fatigue. There is also a Facebook group ketogenic intermittent fasting - tons of weight lifters on there.
