Good luck! ... I have only lost 1 pound in the last 4 days... while fasting! Not happy :( But, 'expectations is the enemy of happiness' :) I want to be happy more than I want to be thin. I really mean that. I suspect that most people would NOT feel this way.

Adefweb dang, surprised your not losing but you don't have must left?. Your calories are low too for a man. You are getting ripped though 😂 I'd rather be thin and happy 👍 I'd be happy to figure a biohack to get our mitochondria to obey! I'm wondering why some people are so different metabolicly.

@jenjabba - I AM losing inches. My muscle definition looks better and my strength is fine because I can list the same weight when I go to the gym 3 times a week. The scale just must-be-ignored sometimes :)

You will be in the 70's in no time - I just made it back to them and it feels great - wasn't sure I'd ever get back there - have a great day!

We are in just about the same place, weight-wise. Got those 170's in my sights! I read an article yesterday on how to improve mitochondria (which results in "metabolic flexibility") by Mark Sisson in his "Mark's Daily Apple" newsletter I receive by email. There were five things: low-carb primal or keto diet, exercise, magnesium, omega 3's (fatty fish, fish oil), and polyphenols (dark chocolate and "colorful produce"). The website Marksdailyapple.com has the article "The Definitive Guide to Metabolic Flexibility." Metabolic flexibility is defined as the ability to easily move between carb and fat burning without experiencing energy drops - or basically all the symptoms of insulin resistance.

good deal I am so happy for you. something working like it should. I am eating a bit too much myself but I do want to heal. You already went through this early stage.

Baskington I don't know what's wrong with me, had to go back to bed, head feels like it's all swollen, all last will daily fatigue. I wonder what the heck! There's got to be answers.

fatigue hits me when I have something I am sensitive too or too much of something. when you are able go over what you had today or yesterday. fatigue usually hits pretty quick though.

I went and looked at your food diary, the only new thing is the coconut oil (MCT oil) and it may be the problem, you had a bad problem yesterday with it. stop taking it for 3 days and see if you get better. I know it is hard to get good fat but you seem to be reacting badly to it.

Thank you for suggesting Dr. ken berry, I have cut my BP meds in half and almost gotten off my BS meds! For me keto is the way! Again thanks!
